2006 `06` Mini Cooper S Chilli Pack 76,000 Miles "ALICE"

2006 `06` Mini Cooper S Chilli Pack 76,000 Miles "ALICE"

A really nice and very well looked after standard example with Full Service History and a Fresh Mot until April 2019 with no advisories.

Affectionately named "Alice" (ALICE COOPER) Alice is a car with a big personality

Finished in the popular and eye catching "Pepper White" this Cooper S also has the Black Roof and Mirror cap upgrade and the Black Bonnet stripes to complete the sporty look.

Shes the one with the letterbox opening in her bonnet so she can breathe a bit better and of course she likes to show off that she is no ordinary Mini.

Because Alice also has the Chilli pack upgrade, your eyes are drawn to her sexy 17" Alloys and the Xenon Headlights which complete the Athletic and purposeful demeaner Alice conveys.

In what can only be described in immaculate condition for its age, the little clamshell bonnet is free of nasty stonechips and her flanks are bereft of scractches and scrapes.

The Bumpers are all intact and have no car park grazes, infact Alice looks fit and healthy and she is one that has certainly had her fair share of tender loving care and attention.

Alice has been blessed with the Chilli Pack from the factory options brochure. this means she wears her immaculate and hardly worn half leather seats with pride. Her carpets are unsullied and all her switches work and look as good as new.

Harking back to the good old days the huge central speedo looks great and ads a large helping of character to this wonderful interior.

She is comfortable to sit in and she has niceties such as Air conditioning, Electric windows and Mirrors and she can pootle along the motorway with her cruise control activated.

She always smells fresh and clean and she is a delight to sit in.

The slot in the Alice`s bonnet does more than look sporty. It feeds fresh air into the completely standard 1,600cc twin-cam, 16-valve, supercharged engine's intercooler. The power plant produces 168 horsepower at 6,000rpm, with 162 pound-feet of torque at 4,000rpm. Gear ratios in the six-speed box have been changed from the previous model year to improve acceleration, and the car lives up to its flying-shoebox heritage with performance that drivers of the original could only dream about.

She gathers pace with suprising acceleration and the little whine of her supercharger reminds you of the old mini`s Gearbox whine so she has the character of the old car but by god is she another level in performance.

Alice , being the S has the sport suspension as standard equipment; she`s firm, but not overly so. The suspension, the quick steering, and the low-profile tires ensure good turn-in and precise handling, and all that rubber grips the road tenaciously. She is in fine fettle is Alice, her springs and dampers feel like they have years left.

This has 4 Excellent Tyres on standard and in acceptable condition 17" Cooper S upgrade Alloys

    Front drivers = 5mm

    Front passenger = 5mm

    Rear Drivers = 4mm

    Rear Passenger = 4mm

Brakes are discs all around, with standard antilock, electronic brake-force distribution, and all-season traction control. Cornering brake control improves stability in cornering. They are in very good working order with no grabbing or pulling when braking.

With front electric windows, Aircon, ABS brakes with EBD, Sports Seats, Half leather trim, 17" alloys, Electric Mirrors and Xenon Headlights she has the desirable Chilli Pack Fitted too.

With quick and direct steering, a grippy chassis and a torquey, supercharged 1.6-litre engine, the Alice`s trick is to take her promising ingredients and, like a Great British Bake Off finalist, combine them into one mouth-watering confection.

The whine from the Supercharger and the huge performance in reserve will leave a huge grin on your face.

You will hunt for country roads with long sweeping corners and you will go for a drive just for the sake of it.

Alice is a girl who likes to have fun...

With a Stamped service Book and a folder full of Receipts this car has been lavished with care and love.

A cambelt and waterpump was fitted at 85k to give anyone peace of mind and a new alternator and battery was fitted this year in 2018.

At £315 per year it is not a lot to pay when you consider how much performance is on offer.

  • MOT

A fresh MOT has been completed and runs until April 2019

The Mini Hatch (stylized as MINI hatch, or MINI Hardtop in the US), also known as Mini Cooper, Mini One, or simply the Mini, is a three-door hatchback first introduced in late 2000, with a second generation launched in 2006 and a third generation model launched in 2014. A convertible version was introduced in 2004, with the second generation following in 2008.

The Mini is produced in Cowley, Oxfordshire, UK, at Plant Oxford, and, since July 2014, at VDL Nedcar in Born, Netherlands.[1] The mini convertible is, since 2015, only assembled in The Netherlands. The Mini Hatch was the first model launched by BMW under the Mini marque after the original Mini was discontinued in 2000. The new model built by BMW is technically unrelated to the former.

he names Cooper and Cooper S are the names used for the sportier version of the classic Mini, which in turn come from the involvement of John Cooper and the Cooper Car Company. The Cooper heritage is further emphasised with the John Cooper Works (JCW) range of tuning options. The John Cooper Works company also created a higher spec model of the Mini Cooper S, the Mini Cooper S Works. It has a higher volume exhaust and air filter, and uprated brakes and suspension, and different 17-inch (430 mm) wheels than the S models
